Photography allows for the exploration and documentation of the complexities of the human experience as well as the creation of new realities.
In my work, I explore obscure and complex emotions paired with a sense of self-compassion and healing. My photography is a form of self-expression and a reflection of my own personal and spiritual journey. Through my photography, I have been able to reflect and heal traumas and wounds as well as work through current anxieties. As I feel things deeply, I express those sensations through digital and film photography with portraits, experimental processes, and creative lighting. I enjoy investigating experiences in the natural and metaphysical world, capturing the magic in the seemingly mundane.
My intention for my work is for the viewer to take a moment to pause and look inwards toward themselves, hopefully, to encourage and empower them in their own healing journey.
